Billing & Fees / Mixed Billing Practice
Golden Grove Health Centre operates as a mixed billing practice.
That means:
Some consultations are bulk billed, and others may incur a private fee.
Bulk billing is offered for:
• Patients aged 15 years & under
• Health Care Card & Concession Card holders
• Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander patients- $30 DNA fee may apply for non attendance
For services or procedures not covered by Medicare, you will be advised in advance.
You can request our Schedule of Fees from reception.

Appointment Policy & What to Expect
- We are an appointment-only clinic – no walk-ins.
- Urgent problems? Inform reception when you book; our team will triage.
- Longer appointments may be needed for specialised services
- Telehealth available for single consults only (face-to-face attendance in past 12 months required)
What to Bring / Documents Required
- Medicare card (must be presented at each visit)
- Concession card (if applicable)
- If no Medicare card, full consult fee applies
- Payment options: Cards, EFTPOS, Credit (except Diners)
After Hours / Emergencies
- Call the practice on 8251 4111; calls are diverted to Hello Home Doctor (134100) outside opening hours
- Urgent care handled by on-call doctor
- For true emergencies, dial 000
